Imaikkaa Nodikal Movie Review
A CBI officer goes in search of a ruthless serial killer. Things get worse when the murderer targets the former and her family. Imaikkaa Nodikal is another film which joins the bandwagon of thriller flicks released in Kollywood in the recent times. But it isn't just another attempt, as it has its own moments, thrills, suspense, action and emotions. The film as cinematographer Rajasekar and music director Hip Hop Tamizha coming to aid, the love track between Atharvaa and Raashi, and the entire duration should have been trimmed to make it a better product. Apart from a few make-believe scenes, the director manages to keep the twists unpredictable and the thrill factor engaging until the end.
Aaruthra Movie Review
An ambitious son sets out to find his missing father, who suffers from memory loss, with the help of two people. Radha Mohan's films are known for its natural portrayal of emotions and bonding between relationships. His latest, 60 Vayadhu Maaniram, a remake of Kannada film Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu, is no different. Its story revolves around Govindharaj (Prakash Raj), a retired college professor who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. As his wife passed away due to cancer a few years ago, his ambitious son Siva (Vikram Prabhu) has admitted him in a home where Alzheimer patients are treated. Elango Kumaravel, a regular in Radha's films, leaves a mark this time, too, thanks to his witty one-liners. Madhumita, who played his wife, does justice to her character. As the ruthless goon, Samuthirakani scores again and comes up with a convincing performance. On the downside, some of the scenes appear staged. While a few sequences bring out the emotions well, there are moments where one feels that it is forced. However, the movie appeals to those who haven't watched the original version or love watching stories on beautiful bonding's.

Shattered by his sisterās cruel murder, a sculptor awards death punishments to those who are behind the brutal act in different ways. Aaruthra is a revenge flick, which has ample emotions, more than adequate preaching, over-the-top action, partly-convincing heroism and a message. A series of horrific murders happen in different parts of the country ā all executed in a weird and similar manner. The CG scenes are terrible, and a few girls running around in itsy-bitsy attires for no reason in the first half looked artificial and were annoying enough to test oneās patience. Though itās not convincing to see Pa Vijay bashing heroes left, right and centre, his performance as a revenge-seeking brother was decent.

Annanukku Jey Movie Review
The son of a toddy seller decides to become a politician to take on bar owner who tries to bring down his father. For a political film, Annanukku Jey is refreshingly low-key. That seems just perfect because the film deals with the conflicts between people in the lower rungs of politics. The film scores the most is in the subtle ways in which it takes a dig at politics. More importantly, it doesn't take the easier route - use contemporary political developments as reference to make its point. Instead, it focuses on the absurdity that can be observed in politics at the grassroot level. Rajkumar wants to say that in the larger scheme of things, the guys in the lower rungs are totally disposable. Even someone like Parasuraman is merely a pawn.

Narathan Sala Movie Review
A guy is forced into an alliance, while he is in a relationship with another girl. How he marries the girl of his choice with his antics is the basis behind @Nartanasala. A title like ā@Nartanasalaā is a reasonable hint that a film will deal with a guyās transformed sexuality, referencing the popular mythological character Brihannala, where Arjuna masks his identity as a woman during the exile period of the Pandavas. The forced brand placement is making its way to Telugu films too, so much that a character is named Kalamandir Kalyan and the apparel brand is displayed across hoardings, pamphlets, carry bags every other minute. @Nartanasala is an epic disappointment for Naga Shaurya after a passable Chalo.

Stree Movie Review
The quaint town of Chanderi is haunted by a unique legend. The spirit of an angry woman stalks men during a festive period. During these four nights, the spirit simply referred to as Stree, calls out to men when theyāre alone. If the men turn around, Stree whisks them away, leaving behind only their clothes. Chanderiās wonder boy and tailor extraordinaire, Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) falls in love with a mysterious girl (Shraddha Kapoor) who appears only during the four days of the festive season as well. Her disappearing act gets his friends suspicious and they start believing that she could be the Stree haunting the city for long. Despite all its flaws and ambiguous ideas, Stree is still an entertaining film. This is an experimental comedy, that creates an eerie atmosphere and it manages to be funny and scary at the same time. Writers Raj and DK bring in their trademark humour. The film has its absurdities, it also has its moments but the final act lets it down.

Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se Movie Review
An upright Ayurveda practitioner is hounded by big pharma giants for his age-old formula called Vajra Kawach that cures everything from pimples to impotency. But how long can he keep this magic pill only for the poor? Vaidya Puran (Sunny Deol) is a man of few words but can rain many blows if his resilience is tested. When he is not treating the poor at his modest dawakhana, he is showing off his brute force by bringing tractors to a grinding halt with his dhai kilo ka haath. Overall, 'YPD 3' sure bears the hallmarks of a loud comedy, but loses much of its steam in the second half and culminates into a predictable climax. If youāre a diehard Deol fan, weāre sure youāll find a reason to watch this film.
